Man Stabbed in Fight in Medford Tuesday

(Marshfield News Herald) -A 56-year-old man was stabbed in a fight Tuesday in Medford, police said.

Officers responded to reports of someone stabbed during a fight around 4 p.m. in a home on the 500 block of North Eighth Street, according to the Medford Police Department.  A 20-year-old woman was arrested and taken to the Taylor County Jail.  The victim was taken to Aspirus Medford Hospital for treatment.

He had injuries that were not life-threatening, according to the police department.  Police will recommend charges to the district attorney. The incident remains under investigation.
