One of Four People Arrested After Execution of Search Warrant in Black River Falls Sentenced

-One of four people arrested after the execution of a search warrant at a home in Black River Falls was sentenced in Jackson County Court on Friday.According to the Black River Falls Police Department, the search warrant was executed on October 11th of last year. Officers found meth, drug paraphernalia and $6,500 in the home. An investigation by the department indicated the people in the home were trafficking drugs. The four people arrested included Patricia Couillard, Carrie Couillard, Christopher Koplin, and Dylan Koplin all of Black River Falls.
During Patricia Couillard’s court appearance on Thursday, was found guilty of, due to a no contest plea, of neglecting a child. Several other charges were dismissed and read in. She was sentenced to one year probation. Carrie Couillard was sentenced back in January to 3 years’ probation for possession of methamphetamine.
