January Class III Milk Price Released

(Wisconsin Ag Connection) -The USDA announced that the January Class III milk price was released at $13.96 per hundredweight.That's up 18-cents from December's price, but four-cents lower than January 2018. For the entire year of 2018, the Class III price averaged $14.61 and was $16.17 during all of 2017. The Class IV component price was 39-cents higher than last month's price at $15.48, and $2.35 higher than last January.
Meanwhile, the Wisconsin all milk price for November was $16.90 per cwt., 70-cents lower than October's price and $2.20 below November 2017. The U.S. all milk price for November was $17.00 per cwt. That was 10-cents higher than Wisconsin, but 40-cents below the previous month.
