Profits Down at Harley-Davidson

(WRN) -Profits are down at Harley-Davidson.Harley's 2018 fourth-quarter profit dropped from a year earlier. While its adjusted results met Wall Street’s view, revenue was strained by an eight-percent drop in motorcycle sales, and a decline in shipments. Shares slid six-percent in morning trading Tuesday. The motorcycle maker earned 495-thousand dollars, that's less than a penny a share.
A year earlier the company earned eight-point-three million, or five cents a share. For the year, Harley-Davidson reported a profit of more than 531-million dollars, or $3.19 a share.
