Neillsville Fire Department Responds to House Fire Early Tuesday Morning

-The Neillsville Fire Department responded to a call early this morning.The department received a report of a house fire at W5156 Hill Road in the Township of Pine Valley around 1:40am this morning. The damage was contained to the kitchen area and spread into the attic a little. The fire appeared to start outside the home from some ashes that had been dumped from a wood stove.
The department was on scene for 2 hours and there were no injuries on their part. They received assistance from the Clark County Sheriff’s Department and the Neillsville Ambulance Service was on standby.
