7-Year-Old Marshfield Boy Left in the Cold on Friday

-A 7-year-old boy was left in the cold after the bus dropped him off on Friday in the City of Marshfield.Friday, a business owner reported a bus dropped a 7-year-old child off at about 11:45 a.m. and the child was not able to get inside his house. The child was standing in 8-below-zero weather for a half-hour and was shivering. The business owner knocked loudly, but no one answered the door.
He took the boy back to his business to warm the boy up and called police. Police were able to call the boy's mother who said she had been sleeping and did not know school had let out early. An officer returned the child to his mother and notified the bus company of the incident.
