Neillsville School Board Approves Several Items

-The Neillsville School Board approved a few items at their meeting on Monday.The board approved the ballot order for the two members up for re-election this spring with Sue Voigt first and Peggy Grap second. The calendar for the next school year was on the agenda, but it was asked that they hold off on that until the next meeting as a few items were noticed that need to be changed. They board also approved some of the handbooks for the next school after a few corrections were brought forward and questions were answered on certain items. The board approved an out-of-state field trip to Minnesota for the Spanish class to attend the Concordia Language event.
The trip is April 4th-7th and it’s funded by the students. Finally, the board approved an early graduation request. The student would normally have graduated in 2021, but has met all requirement and received school approval for early graduation in 2020. The student will be with the class of 2020 when it comes to GPA, scholarships and more.
