Thorp Man Sentenced for Child Sexual Assault Charges

A Thorp man was sentenced for sexual assault of a child charges in Clark County Court on Friday.

Back in 2019, Jacob Dietrich turned himself into authorities after admitting to authorities that he touched a girl under the age of 11 inappropriately.  Back in April of this year, he pleaded guilty to repeated sexual assault of a child.

Three other charges were dismissed and read in. He was sentenced to 6 years in prison and 20 years of extended supervision.
