Planned Parenthood Challenging Wisconsin Abortion Laws

(WRN) -Planned Parenthood is seeking to undo parts of a Wisconsin law that restricts access to some types of abortion.The lawsuit filed on Wednesday alleges that preventing nurse practitioners or midwifes from providing medically induced abortions, and requiring women to have multiple doctor's visits to have an abortion is an undue burden on low income and rural women, and forces them to take long trips for the procedures.
Wisconsin Right To Life claims the laws are there to protect the health of women.
