Greenwood School Board Discusses Financial Forecast

-The Greenwood School Board discussed a financial forecast at their meeting on Monday.The board approved a long-range financial forecast to be conducted by Baird. Also, concept plans for improving security at the main entrances of both schools were reviewed by principal architect/president of SDS. He felt the concept best addressed improving safety at the main entries. District Administrator Todd Felhofer asked the board to consider the possibility of completing the main entry security updates at both schools as separate projects. The board also approved NEOLA Policy Update 27.2 for policies numbered in the 0000’s-4000’s. They also had the first Reading of NEOLA Policy Update 27.2 for policies numbered in the 5000’s-9000’s.
It was also mentioned that the required School Safety and Security Grant documents were uploaded to the Wisconsin Department of Justice and many projects from the safety grants remain in progress. Finally, the board tabled to February the revised Supplemental Compensation Framework and they approved 1-year contract extensions, for 2020-2021, for the Elementary Principal/Director of Teaching & Learning, Athletic Director/Dean of Students, Director of Business Services and District Administrator/7-12 Principal.
