Marshfield Man Arrested for Smoking Meth in Kwik Trip Bathroom Appears in Wood County Court

-A Marshfield man arrested for trying to smoke meth in a Kwik Trip bathroom appeared in Wood County Court on Tuesday.According to the Marshfield Police Department, at the end of December, an officer noticed John Emond walking through the 200 block of North Central Avenue. The officer new Emond had an outstanding warrant, so he followed Emond to the Kwik Trip on North Central Avenue in Marshfield. The officer found Emond in the bathroom trying to inhale a “crystal-like substance.”
Emond is facing charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of THC. During his court appearance on Tuesday, he waived his preliminary hearing. He entered a not guilty plea to the charges against him.
