One Person Killed in Two Vehicle Accident Near Abbotsford

One person was killed in a two vehicle accident near Abbotsford on Saturday.

According to the Marathon County Sheriff’s Department, a two-vehicle crash occurred at the intersection of Highway 29 and County Road E in the Township of Frankfort near Abbotsford around 1:30pm Saturday afternoon.  40-year-old Matthew Froehlich of Minnesota was killed in the accident.

A woman with serious injuries was also taken to the hospital as was a man with minor injuries.  Two kids were also taken to the hospital, but were not injured. The crash is under investigation.
