Marshfield High School Science Bowl Team Brings Home Another First Place Trophy

(Hub City Times) -The Marshfield High School academic science bowl team brought home another first place trophy Jan. 12 and successfully defended their Department of Energy Science Bowl regional title.The team of Suhaas Bhat, senior; Carter Chojnacki, senior; Hugh Steiner, senior; Tara Bhat, sophomore; and Davis Rens, freshman, placed second in their respective pool play to advance to the double-elimination championship bracket at Milwaukee School of Engineering. In the championship round, the team went undefeated to claim the title.
They will now travel to Washington DC, April 25-29, to compete for the national title. Marshfield’s other team of Sary Bseiso, Jasen Kracht, Joss Grissman, Allie Bacholl, and Kenna Chojnacki went 2-2 in their pool play in regional competition, but did not advance.
