Two People Arrested in Black River Falls for Possession and Child Neglect

-Two people were arrested in Black River Falls for possession charges and child neglect.According to the Black River Falls Police Department, around Noon on December 29th, they executed a search warrant at a home at 119 South 3rd Street in Black River Falls. The department was trying to locate evidence regarding a battery incident that was reported during the early morning hours. During the search, they discovered items pertaining to the battery incident, plus a significant amount of drug paraphernalia, drug packaging material and methamphetamine.
21-year-old Brendan Gerber and 24-year-old Kelsey Jensen, both of Black River Falls, were arrested. The police department was assisted by the Ho Chunk Nation Police, Conservation Wardens of the Wisconsin DNR, and the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office.
