(Wisconsin Ag Connection) Wisconsin FFA chapters that are planning to attend the group's annual convention next week are being encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to be donated to Second Harvest Foodbank.
According to the Wisconsin Ag Connection, coordinators say participating schools are being given specific time slots where they can drop off their donations in the main hallway of the Exhibition Hall at the Alliant Energy Center in exchange for FFA Bucks.
Desired items include beans, cereal, soups, canned vegetables, pasta and nut butters. No items in glass jars can be accepted. The Wisconsin FFA Convention is being held July 6-8 in Madison.
