Marshfield Historic Preservation Looking for Candidates for 2019 Stewardship Awards Program

(Hub City Times) -Has an aging property in your Marshfield neighborhood become the shining star of the block?Are you aware of someone who has done such a great job restoring or maintaining their property that they should be recognized? The Marshfield Historic Preservation Committee seeks help in identifying candidates for the 2019 Stewardship Awards Program. To promote public awareness of preservation and restoration, the committee will present awards to property owners who have shown exemplary stewardship in historic preservation through renovation and upkeep of their property. Any property 50 years or older, or any individual or business that is involved in historic education and promotion in the community, is eligible.
Awards will be announced and presented annually or bi-annually in conjunction with Historic Preservation Month or a Marshfield Common Council meeting. You can sumbit a nomination by downloading and printing the form and mailing or emailing it to the Historic Preservation Committee in Marshfield.
