Greenwood Library Looks to the Future

The Greenwood City Council heard an update about the library at their meeting last week.Librarian Kim Metzke discussed some remodeling and renovations of the Library and City Hall building as the city looks to make some changes once Memorial Medical Center moves out of their former building on Main Street and merges with Marshfield Medical Center’s building at the south end of town. The council also approved Judith Pentz and Todd Felhofer for another term on the library board.
The board also heard updates on the Begley Street project and the Waste Water Treatment Facility. An amendment was also approved for an ordinance regarding e-cigarettes. The council also approved the purchase of laptop, monitors and docking station for the Clerk and Deputy Clerk.
