Man Involved in Marshfield Shooting Appears in Court

-A man involved in a shooting in the City of Marshfield appeared in court.According to authorities, officers were called to the 600 block of South Cherry Avenue just after 1am on December 16th. A 31-year-old man had been shot in the abdomen by 37-year-old William Crowley. Both men had run from the home after the shooting. The victim was located and taken to the Marshfield Medical Center for his injuries. He was released.
Crowley is charged with injury by negligent use of a weapon and illegally possessing a firearm. He entered a not guilty plea to the charges against him. He’s in jail on a $5,000 cash bond and he’ll be back in court in March.
