Members for Committees Name for Next Legislative Session

(Wisconsin Ag Connection) -Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald and Minority Leader Jennifer Shilling have announced their parties' members of standing and joint committees for the upcoming legislative session.On the Senate Agriculture, Revenue & Financial Institutions Committee, GOP members include Sen. Howard Marklein, Spring Green, Chair; Jerry Petrowski, Marathon, Vice Chair; Patrick Testin, Stevens Point; Andre Jacque, De Pere; and Kathy Bernier, Lake Hallie. Democrats serving on the panel will be Jeff Smith, Eau Claire; Janis Ringhand, Evansville; Fred Risser, Madison; and Chris Larson, Milwaukee. Members of the Elections, Ethics & Rural Issues Committee are Bernier, Chair; Tom Tiffany, Hazelhurst, Vice Chair; and Dale Kooyenga, Brookfield on the Republican side; with Smith and Mark Miller, Monona, representing the Democrats.
GOP lawmakers serving on the Natural Resources & Energy Committee include Robert Cowles, Green Bay, Chair; Luther Olsen, Ripon, Vice Chair; and Marklein; along with Democrats Miller and Dave Hansen, Green Bay. And the Sporting Heritage, Mining & Forestry Committee consists of Republicans Tiffany, Chair; Devon LeMahieu, Oostburg, Vice Chair; and Duey Stroebel, Saukville. Smith and Bob Wirch, Kenosha, were the Democrat appointees.
