Marshfield Fire Department Responds to Chimney Fire

-The Marshfield Fire Department responded to a chimney fire in the city on Tuesday.According to the department, the fire occurred at 1133 West Ives Street around 12:30pm. The fire began in the chimney and by the time the department arrived, it had spread to the attic and walls of the structure. The department had the fire contained after a couple hours.
There were no injuries in the fire and the home suffered smoke and water damage as well as fire damage to the chimney and walls around the chimney.
