Clark County Board of Supervisors Report

It was a short agenda for the Clark County Board of Supervisors at their meeting on Thursday.They began the meeting with some procedural training. The board then approved a resolution supporting criminal record expungement reform. This resolution shows the board supports expanding the law by allowing a person, regardless of age, to request expungement after completion of their sentence, as well as for acquittals, dismissed charges and civil convictions and to allow the court to order such expungement after certain requirement have been met.
Finally, the board had the 2nd reading of two ordinances, making them county law. The first is for designating ATV and UTV routes and operation conditions throughout the county. The second was approving an amendment to county law regarding offenses and nuisances.
