Black River Falls Man Charged

A Black River Falls man has been charged with trying to kill his sister.According to court records, police responded to a shooting around 3:30am on Tuesday of last week at a home in Black River Falls. A woman told police that she and her brother, 38-year-old Christopher German, had gotten into a heated argument. That’s when German retrieved a handgun and fired at her head.
German was arrested a short while later with the gun in his possession. He’s facing multiple charges including first degree intentional homicide and carrying a concealed weapon. He’s being held on a $20,000 cash bond. He’ll be back in court in January.
