Granton Village Board Meeting

The Granton Village Board discussed the multi-variance discharge application at their meeting on Wednesday.According to the unofficial minutes from the meeting, the village was notified by the DNR that the qualifications for the Economic Individual Variance we previously applied for have changed and that we no longer qualify. The village’s permit has expired and the DNR advised the village is required to apply for the Multi Variance Discharge. Cooper Engineering worked with the DNR to fill out the application. The application was signed and it will be submitted as soon as possible. The board also heard the Treasurer’s Report.
The beginning balance in checking was $42,495.90, ending balance is $190,554.84 and that includes the November Shared Revenue. The beginning balance in the money market account was $457,594.51 and ending balance is $458,064.64. The beginning balance in the Library account was $31,127.88 and ending balance is $31,091.68
