Wisconsin Businessess Plan to Add Workers in the New Year

(WRN) -More than one-quarter of Wisconsin businesses plan to add more workers over the first three months of 2019.That's according to a survey released Tuesday by ManpowerGroup. Spokesman Dave Wheeler says over 12,500 businesses across the U.S. took part in the survey.
It also shows 28-percent of businesses in Wisconsin expect to add employees between January and March. Wheeler says the state's employers also had solid hiring intentions for the end of THIS year.
Wheeler says just five-percent of the Wisconsin businesses surveyed anticipate a reduction in payrolls in the first quarter of 2019. Another 67-percent of Wisconsin employers responded by saying they plan to maintain current staffing levels over the first quarter of next year.
