City of Abbotsford Re-Elects Current Mayor in Recall Election

-The City of Abbotsford voted to keep their current mayor in a historic recall election.Incumbent Lori Voss was re-elected over City Council President Brent Faber. Voss and Faber squared off back in 2017. Faber launched a recall against Voss stating he wasn’t happy with the direction the city was going.
Voss said the recall was only launched because she brought certain issues to light including the books not being reconciled for 18 years. Voss beat Faber 192 votes to 136. The City Clerk for Abbotsford said they had a better turnout in the recall than during the regular election.
