November Class III Milk Price Released

(Wisconsin Ag Connection) -The USDA announced that the November Class III milk price was released at $14.44 per hundredweight.That's down $1.09 from October's price, and $2.44 lower than November 2017. So far, the Class III price has averaged $14.69 this year. The Class IV component price was five-cents higher than last month's price at $15.06, and $1.07 higher than last November.
Meanwhile, the USDA reported that Wisconsin farmers received an average price of $17.60 per cwt. for their milk in October. That was 20-cents higher than September's price, but 90-cents below the same time a year earlier.
