One of Four People Arrested for Armed Robbery Appears in Jackson County Court

-One of four people arrested after an armed robbery in Black River Falls appeared in Jackson County Court on Thursday.According to the Black River Falls Police Department, on July 16th, they received a report of an armed robbery on 215 South 5th Street. The individual stated that two people robbed him at gunpoint while two others remained in the vehicle and he was able to identify the suspects that robbed him. They took several duffle bags from his car and authorities believe the incident was drug related. In the end, officers were able to arrest all of the individuals involved and they are Sheleah Grata, Amanda Peters, Charles Redcloud and Lance Lewis.
Lance Lewis appeared in court for a plea hearing on Thursday. Due to a plea deal, Lewis pleaded guilty to armed robbery as a party to a crime. Two other charges were dismissed and read in. A pre-sentence investigation was ordered and he’s scheduled for sentencing in February.
