This Week's Walk-In Application Dates for Heating Assistance in Clark County

-The Clark County Department of Social Services is taking walk-in applications for the Wisconsin Home Energy Assistance Program for the 2018-2019 heating season.Approximately 1,265 households were assisted last heating season. Appointments will be managed on a first come, first served basis. Please do not call for an appointment. Walk-in dates for this week are Tuesday, December 4th and Thursday, December 6th from 8:30am-3:30pm at the Clark County Courthouse in Neillsville. You will need to provide documentation for all household gross income for the last 3 months, driver’s license (if have not applied before), and a heating and electric bill.
Income for people who are self-employed, farmers, or seasonal workers is based on federal income tax forms for the previous year, 2017. For Clark County residents who are age 60 or older, the Clark County Aging Department will assist with application completion starting October 1st.
