Clark County Farm Service Agency Reminds Producers that Committee Election Ballots Must be Turned in Today

-The Executive Director of the Farm Service Agency for Clark, Taylor and Price Counties wants to remind agricultural producers to vote in the 2018 Committee Elections.County Committees are unique to FSA and serve as a direct link between agricultural communities across the country and the USDA. Committees are a critical component of the day-to-day operations of FSA. They are composed of three to eleven members who serve three year terms. Farmers and ranchers who are elected to serve apply their judgement and knowledge to help with the decisions necessary to administer FSA programs and ensure the needs of local producers are met.
Ballots for the 2018 elections were mailed to eligible voters. If you did not receive your ballot by mail, you can pick one up at your local FSA office. Ballots must be returned or postmarked by today. For more information, visit fsa.usda.gov/elections or contact your local office.
