Fewer Wisconsinites Sign Up for Health Insurance Through the ACA

(AP) -Fewer Wisconsin residents are signing up to purchase health insurance through the Affordable Care Act this year compared to last year.Roughly 62,000 people are enrolled in health plans this year. That figure falls behind the 2017 total, which eclipsed 78,000 citizens. Local governments and nonprofits like the United Way are ramping up their efforts to help people register for health coverage.
There are about two weeks remaining in 2018 to openly enroll under the Affordable Care Act.
