Wisconsin FFA Foundation Exceeds Goal on Giving Tuesday

(Wisconsin Ag Connection) -The Wisconsin FFA Foundation has exceeded its goal of raising $6,500 on Tuesday.As part of the #GivingTuesday campaign, Foundation Director John Hromyak told Wisconsin Ag Connection that individual giving, coupled with a $2,500 matching grant from Compeer Financial, pushed total contributions to over $8,000 on November 27. "We really wanted to encourage the individual contributors to join in on the campaign," Hromyak said. "This was a big new initiative that we've never done before and we're very happy with how it turned out."
More than 50 individual donors were among those who gave to the organization on Tuesday through its website. Compeer Financial announced last week that it would pledge up to $7,500 in matching gift support between the FFA Foundations in Wisconsin, Illinois and Minnesota.
