Mixed Commodity Prices in Wisconsin

(Wisconsin Ag Connection) -The October average price received by farmers for corn in Wisconsin was $3.38 per bushel, according to the latest USDA Agricultural Prices report.This was nine-cents more than September's price and 12-cents greater than the previous October. Soybeans averaged $8.70 per bushel, down 22-cents for the month and 52-cents lower for the year. Oats were $2.74 per bushel, up 10-cents from September, but 14-cents below the October 2017 price. And the all hay prices in Wisconsin averaged $155.00 per ton in October, up $10.00 from last month and $43.00 above last year.
The alfalfa hay price averaged $165.00 per ton, $11.00 over September and $44.00 above the previous October. The other hay price averaged $132.00 per ton, $12.00 more than last month and $40.00 over last October.
