Black River Falls Woman Sentenced for OWI with a Child in the Vehicle

-A Black River Falls woman charged after driving under the influence with a young child in the vehicle was sentenced in Jackson County Court recently.

According to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department, the incident happened on Highway 54 in Black River Falls. Deputies pulled over Ileesiah Ryan for an expired vehicle registration and they noticed she had a white powder on her shirt. She also wouldn’t stop moving. Ryan told the authorities there was meth under the seat. A toddler was in the back seat of the vehicle.

Ryan pleaded guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia and OWI, 2nd with a passenger younger than 16. Four other charges were dismissed and read in. She was sentenced to 1 year probation with a condition of 30 days jail time. She also had her license revoked for 24 months and she must have an ignition interlock device for 24 months.
