One of Four People Sentenced for Armed Robbery in Black River Falls

-One of four people arrested after an armed robbery in Black River Falls was sentenced in Jackson County Court recently.According to the Black River Falls Police Department, on July 16th, they received a report of an armed robbery on 215 South 5th Street. The individual stated that two people robbed him at gunpoint while two others remained in the vehicle and he was able to identify the suspects that robbed him. They took several duffle bags from his car and authorities believe the incident was drug related. In the end, officers were able to arrest all of the individuals involved and they are Sheleah Grata, Amanda Peters, Charles Redcloud and Lance Lewis.
Sheleah Grata was found guilty of, due to a no contest plea, armed robbery as party to a crime. Five other charges were dismissed and read in. She was sentenced to 5 years’ probation with a condition of 1 year jail time. Charles Redcloud also appeared in court recently for a preliminary hearing. Probable cause was found so his court proceedings will continue. He’ll be back in court on Thursday for arraignment.
