(AP) -Wisconsin election officials report a relatively trouble-free midterm election.Wisconsin's chief elections official, Meagan Wolfe, said Wednesday there was no evidence of hacking, or of voter fraud or suppression in Tuesday's election. Wolfe says given Wisconsin's "unprecedented voter turnout" for a midterm election, the relatively small number of issues reported Wednesday should give Wisconsin residents "confidence and pride in our system of clean and transparent elections."
According to unofficial results, more than 2.67 million Wisconsin voters cast ballots. That's 59.38 percent of the state's voting age population and a record turnout for a Wisconsin midterm election.
