-A Spencer woman facing charges for sexually assaulting a 15-year-old boy multiple times appeared in Marathon County Court on Wednesday.According to court records, 42-year-old Linda Habhegger, said she would watch the boy from time to time and even considered herself a mother or aunt figure to the boy. Habhegger, who said she was sexually abused as a child, admitted to authorities she had sex with the boy multiple times at her home between July and September. She said she told the boy he wouldn’t get into trouble. She also told authorities that she didn’t think she did anything wrong.
Habhegger has been charged with three counts of second degree sexual assault of a child. During her preliminary hearing on Wednesday, probable cause was found, so her court proceedings will continue.
