Wisconsin Dells Woman Charged with Bank Fraud

-A Wisconsin Dells woman has been charged for bank fraud after trying to cash checks at a Black River Falls Bank.According to court records, 41-year-old Lindsey Shramek cashed to checks at the Black River Country Bank back in July. The first was for $10 and the second was a $2,850 cashier’s check. The checks were returned for being altered or fake. Shramek said she had received the checks for purchasing items online and then filling out surveys.
All though the money was spent and Shramek is being charged, she has set up payments to reimburse the bank for the money.
