Neillsville School Board Hears Administrators' Reports

-The Neillsville School Board heard the Administrators’ Reports at their meeting on Monday.Elementary Principal Scott Schiller reported on attendance, October 1st was the Blue-Out Bullying event, field trips, activities, PBIS t-shirts, parent teacher conferences October 18th and 19th and an elementary principal’s convention on October 11th and 12th. High School Principal Craig Anderson reported on attendance, 7th grade Diversity Day at the Highground on October 4th, the 11th grade trip to the WI Education Fair and UWEC on October 5th, the blood drive on October 10th and the youth apprenticeship luncheon on October 17th. He also reported on the Cloverbelt Conference Leadership Summit on October 17th, the fall choral concert on October 29th, a flu clinic on October 30th, a homecoming week update, the middle school intervention update and all-conference band selections.
Finally, District Administrator John Gaier reported on WASB award winners, a thank you from the Highground, the Chamber Board of Directors election, the state of education address, questions for 2018 gubernatorial candidates, an article regarding the 2018 state elections, an update on federal education funding, two Focus articles, policy review, track upgrade options and the safety grant.
