Black River Falls Man Arrested for 8th OWI Appears in Monroe County Court

A Black River Falls man arrested for his 8th OWI appeared in Monroe County Court.

According to court records, back in February a State Patrol Trooper pulled over Kevin Conant Artic Road at high EW for an illegal muffler and deviating from his lane of traffic.

Conant failed a field sobriety test and was arrested. He’s facing charges of 8th OWI, two counts of bail jumping, operating while revoked, operating with a PAC, and deviating from lane of traffic.

During his preliminary hearing, probable cause was found so his court proceedings will continue.  He entered a not guilty plea to the charges against him.  He’s scheduled to be back in court next week.
