Neillsville City Council Hears Public Works Report

The Neillsville City Council heard the Public Works Report at their meeting on Tuesday.The usual amount of work was done in the city including cemetery and parks maintenance, equipment maintenance, mowing, trimming/pruning trees, maintain street lighting, filling pot holes, hauling brush and compost, street sweeping, fixing storm sewer inlets and sink holes and more. They department also helped demo a bathroom in Schuster Park as they prepare to build a new one. The FEMA project at 822 Grand Avenue is also completed.
They also replaced a culvert on Schlinkert Road, finished up reading water meter readings, doing some maintenance on the lift stations and doing some crack sealing. Also, the department is looking into setting up an electronic clean sweep.
