More Committee Reports at Neillsville City Council Meeting

-The Neillsville City Council heard a handful of committee reports at their meeting on Tuesday as they move into budget season.The council heard the report from the Commission on Economic Development. They commission approved their 2019 budget of $18,270 and will present it to the Finance Committee and Common Council. The council also heard the Police and Fire Commission report from their meeting on September 20th. The purpose of the meeting was to give the Neillsville Police Chief permission to begin the hiring process of a new officer, pending council approval.
Finally, the council heard the report from the Neillsville Community Fire Hall Board from their meeting on September 20th. They went over the financials and discussed some minor items around the station. They also approved the 2019 budget and approved keeping the mileage reimbursement rate at $.50.
