Moose on the Loose in Central Wisconsin

(WRN, Bob Hague) -There's a moose on the loose, in south central Wisconsin.The large ungulate, that's a hoofed mammal, has been spotted recently in Clark and Eau Claire Counties. The state Department of Natural Resources has confirmed that the bull moose is passing through, heading east. Wildlife biologists said the most likely reason is he is searching for a mate.
Moose occasionally wonder into northern Wisconsin from Minnesota and the Upper Peninsula, but sightings in southern Wisconsin are more rare.
