-An Arpin man is being charged with exposing a child to harmful material in Clark County after sending a picture of his genitals to a young girl.27-year-old Richard Zellner knew the girl’s family and he befriended her on Facebook and Snapchat. Over a three day period, he began sending the girl messages and they became more and more intimate and inappropriate as time went on. The girl answered the messages at first, but then she gave her phone to her parents. They took screenshots of the messages. Eventually, Zellner sent a picture of his genitals to the girl. The family immediately contacted the police.
Zellner is being charged with exposing a child to harmful material and attempting to expose intimate parts to a child. He was in court on Monday for a preliminary hearing and arraignment. Probable cause was found so his court proceedings will continue. He entered a not guilty plea to the charges against him. He’ll be back in court next week.
