Neillsville City Council Hears Committee Reports

-The Neillsville City Council discussed a few items at their meeting Tuesday evening.The council approved the resignation of a Neillsville Officer and a permit for the use of a metal detector on public property. The council also heard many committee reports as they move into budget season. The first was from the Finance Committee meeting held after the last Common Council Meeting on September 11th. They also heard the Airport Commission Report from September 12th. The Airport Commission approved asking for $500 more in the maintenance line of the budget, $149 more for management services and an additional $5,000 to the capital account.
The council also heard the Heritage Days Report from September 12th. The committee approved asking for $2,000 for the 2019 Heritage Days Event. They also discussed a special event for the Miss Neillsville coronation, bands, new events and signs.
