Employment Matters at Neillsville School Board Meeting

-The Neillsville School Board discussed employment matters at their meeting on Monday.The board approved the hiring of Taylor Townsend for a teaching assistant position, Rebecca Oldham for a teaching assistant position, Jenna Pavlac for a teaching assistant position, Joy Abel for a teaching assistant position and Cynthia Anderson for a food service assistant position. The board also approved the retention bonuses for support staff employees as presented and an increase from step 5 to step 6 on the salary schedule for Dana Nickel. The board approved the Memorandum of Understanding for Reed Lehman as presented and approved the Memorandum of Understanding for Monika Luebke as presented.
The board also approved the resignation of Brian Waters from his middle school track coaching position and the resignation of Jessica Brown from her middle school basketball coaching position. The board approved the Certified Staff Handbook updates as presented. The board also approved the initial adoption of several policies including Policy CDD, Policy CDE and Policy IKC. Finally, the board heard a WASB Report and CESA Report.
