Two People Arrested Near Osseo for Possession Appear in Trempealeau County Court

-Two people from Illinois, arrested near Osseo for possession, appeared in Trempealeau County Court on Tuesday.According to the Osseo Police Department, back in April, they performed a traffic stop on I-94 around 1am in the morning. A search of the vehicle found 7 grams of cocaine, 14 grams of marijuana, 152 grams of marijuana candies and an assortment of prescription and narcotic drugs. They also seized drug paraphernalia, a digital narcotics scale and $1,869 in cash. 75-year-old Paula Paradis and 35-year-old Bradley Barajas, both of Illinois, were arrested.
During their court appearance on Tuesday, Bradley Barajas entered a plea to the charges against him. He pleaded guilty to three different possession charges. He was sentenced to 10 days in jail. Paradis had the charges against her dismissed on the prosecutor’s motion.
