Tuesday, September 18th, 2018 -- 12:07 PM

-Two of four people arrested after an armed robbery in Black River Falls appeared in Jackson County Court on Monday.

According to the Black River Falls Police Department, on July 16th, they received a report of an armed robbery on 215 South 5th Street. The individual stated that two people robbed him at gunpoint while two others remained in the vehicle and he was able to identify the suspects that robbed him. They took several duffle bags from his car and authorities believe the incident was drug related. In the end, officers were able to arrest all of the individuals involved and they are Sheleah Grata, Amanda Peters, Charles Redcloud and Lance Lewis.

Peters is facing charges of armed robbery, resisting or obstructing an officer, disorderly conduct and receiving stolen property. During her court appearance, she waived her preliminary hearing and will be back in court on Monday for arraignment. Grata also appeared in court on Monday. She entered a plea to the charges against her. She was found guilty of, due to a no contest plea, armed robbery. Several other charges were dismissed and read in. She’ll be back in court in November for sentencing.
