Portion of County Highway M in Clark County Closed

-The Clark County Highway Department has closed County Highway M between the intersections of Rock Creek Rd and 153 Rd due to repairs needed on the bridge which crosses the South Branch of the Eau Claire River.During an inspection last week, concerns were identified which resulted in a reduced weight limit being posted on the bridge. Upon additional inspections today it was determined that the bridge needed to be closed until repairs can be made. Signage will be posted to indicate the area of the road closure. Motorists are reminded not to drive around road closure signs and barricades and find an alternate route of travel to avoid the closed area.
The work will be started as soon as coordination and weather allows. The road will be closed until further notice until repairs can be made. Clark County apologizes for any inconvenience caused by this closure and appreciates everyone’s patience and understanding as we work through the required repairs.
