Neillsville Fire Department Responds to Barn Fire Wednesday Morning

-The Neillsville Fire Department responded to a report of a barn fire Wednesday morning.According to the department, a bypasser called in a report of a barn fire at N904 Clark Avenue in the Township of Levis around 4:08am. When the department arrived, the barn, which was mainly used as a shelter and for storage, was fully engulfed and almost burnt to the ground. The department was on scene for 4 hours and they had no injuries on their part.
There were no injuries whatsoever. They received mutual aid from the Merillan Fire Department and water from the Hatfield Fire Department. They also had the Neillsville Ambulance service on standby. The structure is considered a total loss.
