Man Arrested in Osseo for Possession Sentenced

-One of three people arrested in Osseo for drug charges back in April was sentenced in Chippewa County Court.According to the Osseo Police Department, they tried to stop a vehicle in the City of Osseo on 10th Street. The driver, Russ Peterson, turned into a driveway, bailed out of the vehicle and then ran off. However, officers were able to track him by following his footprints in the snow. Russ was found guilty of, due to a no contest plea, criminal trespass, disorderly conduct, manufacture/deliver amphetamine.
Several other charges were dismissed and read in. He was sentenced to 3 years’ probation with 5 months jail time.
